Clamp

Few simple objects take us back to our childhood, rekindling memories of home, evoking a sense of joy and nostalgia. The clamp lamp was inspired by such an ubiquitous object found around most Indian households, such as the clothes pin. The admiration of a clothespin’s life as it flows around the house at different times of the day inspired this project. This led to designing a lamp that could be moved and clamped/ clipped onto different surfaces like a clothespin.
